The RDing TEMPer1 is a USB-based temperature logger.
See RDing TEMPer1/Info for more details (such as lsusb -vvv output) about the device.
Hardware
- Main chip/sensor: National LM75 or compatible
- This was verified by sniffing the I2C protocol on the wires, which shows an LM75 compatible protocol. The chip is not on the PCB, but rather encapsulated in the sensor cable itself.
- PC interface chip: Unkown, but lsusb says "0c45:7401 Microdia". It's a HID device.
