GPIB-ENET

The National Instruments GPIB-ENET is an Ethernet-based, hardware-implemented GPIB interface.

This is the first GPIB-Ethernet adapter released by National Instruments. It only handles 10BASE-T, and is now obsolete. Its successors are the GPIB-ENET/100 and GPIB-ENET/1000.

Hardware

  • CPU: Philips 68070 CDA "object code compatible" with Motorola 68000.
  • Ethernet(?): DP83902 ST-NIC Serial Network Interface Controller for Twisted Pair
  • Memory: MT4C16270DJ-6 256K EDO DRAM
