The Metex M-3850M is a 4000 counts true rns, handheld digital multimeter with RS232 connectivity.

Multimeter: Note that this Multimeter was repaired, since there were some parts broken or missing: The On/Off-Switch cap, the stand and the battery cover have been 3d-printed, so they are not original. The battery clip was replaced due to corrosion.

Protocol
See Multimeter ICs#Alternative_Protocol. This device works with the Metex M-3860M driver. It appears as a 4 channel device, the first one corresponding to the main display, the other three channels to the small multi-purpose displays beneath.
