Status in progress

Hardware

The Siglent SDS1000X series oscilloscopes are capable of sampling up to 1GSa/s 14 Mpts/CH memory for the analog channels. Due to the fact that both channels are shared, if both channels are on the sampling rate is limited to 500MSa/s and 7 Mpts/CH memory depth per channel. The analog channels have history memory where 80000 frames are stored and can be viewed via the scopes History function.

The device is available in 2 categories namely, SDS1000 and SDS1000+, where the plus devices have the Logic Analyzer and DDS arbitrary waveform generator build in. Keep in mind that for the Logic Analyzer an extra software option and probe device (SPL1016) must be purchased. The Logic Analyzer is capable 500 MSa/s with 14 Mpts/CH memory.

An extra software option to decode serial protocols is also available on all devices.

The model numbers are for the 100Mhz bw: SDS1102X SDS1102+ and 200Mhz bw: SDS1202 and SDS1202+

Protocol

All devices support USB (USBTMC) and LAN (VXI-11) by default, and are implementing the IEEE488.2 protocol.
