Aside from saving the last device used it would be nice to also save that device's configuration settings.

This seems to be a dup of bug #139

Thanks for your feedback, Baruch. The point Johannes however wanted to make is that the hardware configuration should also be saved and restored.

#139 doesn't make mention of the hardware but only the channel display (colors, order, labels). That's why I considered them different enough to warrant opening a new one.
