error

first time i run pulseview it runs for a few milliseconds then stops, second time i run it i get "Capture failed generic/unspecified error" if i turn off Run Length encoder it will run for another few milliseconds and stop then go back to giving the error again. i have tried pulseview with both libusb-win32 v1.2.5.0 and 1.2.6.0 and have the same error. i get the same errors on Windows 10 and xp machines

Hi jon,

I've had the same problem but in Linux. You need to extract the firmware for FPGA from original DLLs.

See here https://blog.danman.eu/lwla1016-in-linux/

Or here https://sourceforge.net/p/sigrok/mailman/message/34647747/

This is "fixed" in 58427d6f1f9460e1c9f40037639af0f6dd1f1a77, thanks for reporting!

While we had certain firmware files and permission from the vendor to redistribute them, those files were unfortunately buggy. So we've dropped them for now (until we get non-buggy files from the vendor, and permission to redistribute them).

In the mean time, the wiki docs are updated to document how you can extract the (non-buggy) firmware files from the vendor software and where to place them:
