How to reproduce:

1. Don't attach any hardware device to the PC.
2. Start PV, demo is autoselected.
3. Load any *.sr file. The data of that file is displayed.
4. Select demo from the device dropdown.
5. Select the previously loaded file from the device drop-down.

Now the data from the file is no longer being displayed (but it should).
