I downloaded the Ubuntu Pulseview software from the repository. It recognized my Open Bench OLS device, but wouldn't connect. Then I noticed it had no baud rate setting box for the serial through USB configuration. Maybe an assembly error? It was version 0.4.1-bu something.
Then I downloaded version 5.5.1 from Sigrok and ran it as an app. The baud-setting box was present, and Pulseview connected and ran my OLS just fine.

Worth mentioning in case anyone else sees the same problem.
