Description Joe Butler 2021-08-15 16:49:35 CEST
The application seems to only find things when share is placed in the:

<install> folder

not the:

<install>\PulseView\share\ folder
(which is where the installer creates the share folder).

This affects PulseView listing which decoders it has when opening the Add Decoder panel. With the decoders in the installed share location, they are not listed in the application, but when put in manually in the share location above, they are listed correctly.

This affects PulseView finding custom firmware (e.g. DSLogicPlus, where I copied the firmware files - adding them to the others). This works if I manually create a share folder in the location above, but does not work if I put it there in the share location created by the installer).
