I'm a little confused by the 1st and 2nd comment. Are those duplicates of the comments in #735 or are they relevant to the bug description?
Comment 4 __rob 2016-02-05 13:37:18 CET
The zoom were for a different bug (posted by me) I didn't see a way to remove them, but they can be ignored for this bug. Also, I believe the 'bug' these screenshots are related too has been fixed.

Ah ok, that's fine then. Can you please elaborate a bit on your suggested improvement?

To give you a bit of background info: the triggers available in PV depend on the selected device. If the device doesn't offer certain trigger types, those won't be shown.

Currently, selecting a trigger and clicking on the "run" button causes the device to wait until the trigger and starting acquisition once it has been detected. Thus, PV will wait for the hardware to trigger.

There are also software triggers available but PV currently has no support for them if I remember correctly. Either way, PV would behave similarly to hardware triggers when using those.

I would appreciate your feedback, otherwise I'll have to assume that there is no issue anymore. Thanks!

Reporter didn't report back, so I'm closing this bug and assume everything is fixed by now.
