Window connect Pulseview to logic analyzer

Hi,

I am new to Pulseview and sigrok. Having a China logic analyzer connected to my Mac, I report problems in finding the hardware after having started Pulseview.

The demo driver in Pulseview works fine, I am very pleased with the features and performance of this application. At least I found the buttons to click to get this working fine.

Connected hardware to computer via USB:
DSLogic Basic USB Logic Analyzer 16Ch 100MHz 4Ch 400MHz Xilinx Spartan-6 FPGA as described here: https://www.sigrok.org/wiki/DreamSourceLab_DSLogic_Basic
The analyzer is not shown on the desktop after connecting, but a red LED is lit.

Mac:
Macbook pro 15"/2,7 GHz i7/macos Big Sur v. 11.6

Firmware:
I read a lot in the wiki and put a firmware file from the respective site into the Pulseview content: contents/share/sigrok-firmware/DSLogicBasic.fw

That's all I could find and understand what to do to get the thing going. After a few reboots the situation has not changed, yet. Does the (new) hardware need some uploads of any software/firmware?

Regards
Andreas
