2011/12/27 sigrok @ 28C3

The sigrok project will have a little meet-up / hackathon at the 28th Chaos Communication Congress (28C3) in Berlin.

sigrok now has an alternative GTK+ based GUI (work in progress), contributed by Gareth McMullin, thanks! The code has been merged into the official sigrok repository.

2011/04/03 ChronoVu LA8 now supported

sigrok now has initial support for the ChronoVu LA8 logic analyzer. Many thanks to the vendor (ChronoVu) for freely providing information on the protocol used to communicate with the device. This helped us implement the sigrok hardware driver more quickly. We're happy to see more open-source friendly vendors support sigrok!

2011/04/03 sigrok 0.2 released

We're happy to announce the sigrok 0.2 release. This is mostly a bugfix release.

2011/03/15 sigrok in Debian

We're happy to announce that sigrok is now available in Debian, and Ubuntu will likely follow soon (semi)automatically.

2011/01/20 sigrok 0.1 released

The first official release, sigrok 0.1, was announced. Refer to the release announcement on the mailing list for more information.

2010

2010/12/27 sigrok @ 27C3

The sigrok project had a little meet-up and "booth" at the 27th Chaos Communication Congress (27C3) in Berlin. We did a little bit of sigrok hacking and brainstorming and took some nice pictures of our logic analyzer collection.

2010/05/01 ASIX SIGMA now supported

sigrok now has initial support for the ASIX SIGMA logic analyzer. The code was contributed by Håvard Espeland and Martin Stensgård (thanks)! Also, many thanks to the vendor (ASIX) for releasing the device's firmware / FPGA bitstreams under a license which allows us to distribute the files. This makes life for sigrok users who own this device a lot simpler.
