To enable the ranges 3.000 mA and 3.000 A, switch function selector to circle with dot symbol and press yellow button. Wait until auto calibration of these ranges is finished ("CAL" in display disappears). After that the ranges are available in the mA resp. A function until multimeter powered off automatically or manually.

The Gossen Metrawatt Metrahit 14A is a 3100 counts handheld digital multimeter with IR (RS232) connectivity.

It is very similar to the Metrahit 14S, but has no ranges of 3 µA= and 3 mA≈.

Hardware

  • Battery: 9 V IEC 6 F 22 or IEC 6 LR 61 or corresponding rechargeable battery
  • Fuse:
    • Current 300 mA: FF 1,6 A/500G; 6,3x32 mm
    • Current 3A, 10A:
      • Siba Ultrarapid 16A/600 V≈ 10mm x 38 mm
      • Littlefuse KLK 15A/600 V≈ 13/32” / 1 1/2”
      • Bussmann KLK 15A/600 V≈ 13/32” / 1 1/2”
  • TODO.
