Currently only one path can be provided for SIGROK_FIRMWARE_DIR, but in some situations it's required or at least beneficial to specify multiple paths.

Paths should probably be separated via the OS-specific separator (: or ; usually).

A _PATH variable was introduced in libsigrok commit 4a57cc3582af 
while _DIR was kept for backwards compatibility.
