To reproduce:
  * click on any channel
  * dismiss the popup with Escape
  * try to right-click

The menu will not appear.

Also, I think the following should also cause menu to appear:
  * click on any channel
  * do not dismiss the popup
  * try to right-click

I keep trying to do both things when initially configuring the channels.
