Use-case: When changing e.g. the UART PD baudrate, you delete the current one (triggers a re-decode), then type 1 1 5 2 0 0, which triggers 6 more re-decodes. The same probably goes for changing other things which might trigger redrawn and especially re-decodes.

Adding a short delay before such changes takes effect would prevent so many unnecessary re-decodes.
