Hello. I used Pulse view in one of my previous project, and had some problems/ideas how to make the usage of the software a lot simpler. I had a actor, recycled from a device I wanted to interface. I first recorded the protocol and saved it to a file. After hacking the actor to a microcontroller, I tried to interface it. I had some critical timing issues, what brings me to the first point: would it be possible toad a future to load multiple files/logic analyzers to a single pulse view window, and maybe add some kind of compare decoder? On the project, I also used a serial decoder and named/removed the cannels, but these settings where not saved to the data file, so I had to reset them on every season. Would it be possible to set these settings to the data file? I also had to find always the same data packet on the file and on the recorded data. Would it be possible to add some kind of data window where you can see the decoded data, and move to it, as it is available in saleae logic? Last thing I discovered was that if I unconnect the logic analyzer I have to restart the software every time, and all the settings are resented. Is there a way to save the settings and load them on software start? Otherwise great software!
